A very tragic incident occured today in Texas at a Fort Hood Army Base. Officials say Army Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan opened fire at the Soldier Readiness Center leaving 12 dead and 31 wounded. Hasan was killed on the scene. The center is used for soldiers being deployed and soldiers returning, going through medical screening. Two others were also arrested in connection with the incident. Investigators are trying to determine if the gunman's birth name is Hasan or if he changed it after converting to Islamic beliefs. Such a sad, tragic story. My prayers go out to all the families.
