I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie....my eyes welled up just from the trailer! It may be a familiar storyline, but the emotions brought by the lead character Precious, ( Gabourey Sidibe), I think are definetly Oscar worthy. The movie is based on the novel PUSH by Sapphire ( gotta check the author out) and also stars Mo'Nique. Homegirl switched it up with this one! Can't wait to see her, even though I have a feeling I'm not gonna like her character. Mariah Carey and Paula Patton ( Idlewild) co star as a social worker and teacher, respectively.
