President Obama is preparing to sign a Hate Crimes Bill this afternoon.(Wednesday, October 28, 2009) The signing of this provision comes eleven years after Matthew Shepard, a twenty one year old gay college student was brutally killed. According to ABCNEWS.com, some of Matthew's family will be in attendance and a reception will follow the occasion. Now, there's something else that comes along with this provision. $130 billion worth of something else. That's the spending budget for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
