JAYSON WILLIAMS TAKES PLEA DEAL

Ex- NBA baller Jayson Williams accepted a plea deal of aggravated assault ending his re-trial and he now faces 3 years in prison and the minimum he could get is 18 months. Williams was tried back in April 2002, when his driver Costas "Gus" Christofi, 55, was shot when Williams played with a shotgun while giving a tour at his New Jersey home. Williams was aquitted of the more serious charges but the jury came back deadlocked on the charge of manslaughter. A Hunterdon County appeals court ruled in April of 2006, that Williams could be retried on a wreckless manslaughter charge. If only he could turn back the hands of time.
